Los Cabos is located at the southern most tip of the Baja California peninsula in Mexico, also known as "Land's End".
Its spectacular location is found at latitude 22, near the Tropic of Cancer, in Baja Sur.
Recognized as the Marlin Capital of the World, Los Cabos is famous for sport fishing. Catch striped marlin between late winter and midsummer, blue and black marlin as early as June, and if you travel during October and November you will find striped, blue and black Marlin, Dorado, Wahoo, Sailfish, Yellow Fin Tuna and more. Los Cabos offers a wide range of whale-watching tours ranging from up-scale and exclusive tours, to high-speed zodiac boat tours. Some even include underwater microphones so you can hear the whales sing. Whale season runs from November through May each year, with Gray whales being the most commonly sighted in Cabo.
